One Full-Time Faculty Position Opening: International Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology
I. Educational Requirements: Applicants must hold a Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or possess an Assistant Professor certificate (or higher).
II. Areas of Specialization: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, IoT Systems, Data Analysis, Embedded Systems, Optimization, and other AI-related fields.
III. Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in delivering courses entirely in English (EMI capability).
- At least one year of industrial practical work experience related to the teaching field. (Relevant proof of employment must be attached; however, tenure-track faculty employed before the implementation of the Technical and Vocational Education Act are exempt from this requirement.
IV. Required Documents (Please arrange in the following order):
1.NYUST Faculty Application Form: Including a personal CV and autobiography. (Please download the form from the NYUST Personnel Office website).
2.Academic and Professional Credentials: Photocopies of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree certificates, transcripts for all degrees, professional experience certificates, and identification documents.
- Overseas Degrees: For those with foreign degrees, certificates and transcripts must be verified by an overseas mission of the R.O.C. (Taiwan). Additionally, an "Entry and Exit Record" issued by the National Immigration Agency is required.
- Industry Experience: Submit relevant supporting documents in accordance with the "NYUST Guidelines for Recognition of Faculty Industrial Practical Work Experience."
- Research Portfolio: A complete list of journal publications and patents over the years.
- Representative Works: 2 to 3 representative publications.
- Teaching Plan: A list of courses you are qualified to teach (including compulsory and elective courses) with brief syllabi.
- Research Statement: Future research directions and plans.
- Letters of Recommendation.
3.Other Supporting Materials: Any additional documents that demonstrate relevant capabilities (e.g., participation in research projects or industry-academia collaboration projects).
4.Note: All submitted application materials will not be returned, regardless of whether the applicant passes the initial screening.
V. Start Date of Appointment: August 1, 2026 (Fall Semester, 2026 Academic Year).
VI. Application Deadline: April 30, 2026 (Postmarked by this date).
